Arrived in Lockhart TX around 2:00 on Tuesday April 28th. Easy drive from Fort Clark (187 miles). We are trying not to travel more than 250 miles per day when on the road. My cousin Jack and his wife Elfriede had us over for dinner that evening. Ivan and Randi joined us as well. Wednesday was a down day, which means we didn't do anything, except have lunch at one of the local Bar B Q joints in town. Lockhard is the Bar B Q capital of Texas. In the evening we hosted a Wiens Wine Tasting with some of the folks in the campground. New converts to Wiens wine.
